Project Update: February 13, 2024

The District of Tofino is pleased to inform the community that the Basketball Courts at the Village Green have been reopened following a period of closure for refurbishment as part of the Neill Street & Village Green Improvements Project.

The upgrades to the basketball courts include:

• Installation of new basketball nets, hoops, backboards, and stands.
• Establishment of an accessible ramp and stairs leading to the basketball court.
• Installation of new fencing surrounding the court perimeter.
• Addition of new benches within the court.

The District would like to thank the community for their patience and understanding during the temporary closure while the upgrades were being completed.
