Open House: Let's Talk Water

The District of Tofino, Tourism Tofino, and the Tofino Chamber of Commerce invite residents and businesses to attend the Let’s Talk Water Open House on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM at the Tofino Community Hall.

This drop-in event is an opportunity to learn more about how the District is addressing both short and long-term water security needs, and the work underway to support Tofino’s future water supply.

The open house comes as the District has recently shortlisted three potential expanded or alternative water source options and continues preparations for the summer season, when water conservation is often top of mind.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Learn about the three shortlisted options being explored
• Speak directly with District staff and ask questions
• Better understand seasonal water conservation efforts
• Pick up water conservation materials for businesses to display or share if conservation stages are introduced
• Share feedback and community perspectives

District staff will be available throughout the event to provide information and discuss all things water.
