Why is this project happening?
As per Provincial and Federal mandates, all municipalities in Canada must provide secondary treatment to effluent sewage before discharging.
When will this project be complete?
The project is anticipated to be completed in late 2024.
Who is the primary contractor for this project?
This work is being completed by NAC Constructors LTD. NAC has acquired rental accommodation to house the workforce during construction.
How much distruption will there be during construction?
There will be some traffic disruptions during the conveyance upgrades. Notices of disruptions, road closures and project changes will be communicated to the public as needed.
Will there be service interruptions during construction?
There are no planned service interruptions currently.
