It will influence the development of future 5-year strategic plans and branding strategies for Tourism Tofino and inform upcoming Resort Development Strategies, ensuring a cohesive and sustainable approach to managing tourism in the region.

Tourism Tofino Executive Director, Brad Parsell, presented the Tofino Destination Stewardship Plan, a collaboration between Tourism Tofino, the District of Tofino, and Destination Think. Following discussion, Council carried a motion to adopt the plan as the District’s tourism master plan, guiding future strategies, policies, and projects related to tourism management and sustainability.
