Survey: Draft Recreation & Parks Master Plan

The District of Tofino is inviting the community to review and provide feedback on the draft Recreation & Parks Master Plan.

The Recreation & Parks Master Plan is a long-term planning document that will help guide recreation, parks, trails, facilities, programming, and future investments in Tofino over the next 10+ years. The draft plan has been shaped through community engagement, research, and analysis completed throughout the project process.

During the first phase of engagement, residents shared feedback on community strengths, gaps, priorities, and future recreation and parks needs. That input directly helped inform the draft plan’s Goals, Strategies, and Actions.

Now, the District is seeking final feedback from the community before the plan is finalized and presented for Council consideration.

Residents are encouraged to:

  1. Review the Draft Master Plan Summary
  2. Review the Full Draft Recreation & Parks Master Plan
  3. Complete the public feedback survey

Feedback will be accepted until Saturday, June 6, 2026.
