Project Complete

The District of Tofino is pleased to announce the completion of improvements to the Multi-Use Path (MUP). The project, which involved widening and resurfacing two sections of the path, has successfully enhanced safety and accessibility for all users.

Key updates include:

• Resurfaced and widened sections: North of Sharp Road near the Dolphin Motel and between 1426 and 1436 Pacific Rim Highway.
• Installation of root guards: To prevent future damage from tree roots.
• Enhanced user experience: The improvements provide a smoother and safer pathway for both residents and visitors.
