Project Completed

The Fourth Street Public Washroom project is now complete and will open for use on Friday, October 9, 2026.

Located near the Wickaninnish Community School sports fields, adjacent to the southernmost ball field, the new facility includes a single-stall, fully accessible, gender-inclusive public washroom, a water fountain, and a water bottle fill station.

The project supports recreation programming, community events, field users, residents, students, and visitors in the Fourth Street and Gibson Street area.

This project was fully funded through the District’s participation in the Province of British Columbia’s Resort Municipality Initiative program.
