Update: August 11, 2026

Council awarded the Campbell Street Phase 3 construction contract to Knappett Industries Ltd. for $1,575,725.75 plus GST. The final phase of the downtown Campbell Street revitalization will include sidewalk improvements, stormwater upgrades, new asphalt, safety improvements at First Street, and a turnaround overlooking Duffin Cove.

Construction is planned to begin in January 2027 and be completed by May 2027.
